Born from a personal experience. Built for a collective one
Born to Be Wild was started in 2025 by a mum-entrepreneur who gave birth twice in Portugal, and witnessed firsthand how hard the system makes it to access real choices. Surrounded by traumatic birth stories, she decided to do something about it: build a collective voice, and make sure women today are better supported than she was. She was joined shortly after by Irene Jaspers, who is today the co-host of the newly launched podcast, bringing her years of field experience as a doula.
