The Platform is operated by an individual on a non-commercial basis, pending formal legal incorporation. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. Nature of the Platform: Important Disclaimer

Born to Be Wild is an informational and community resource only. It does not:

• Provide medical advice of any kind
• Certify, validate, or endorse any practitioner listed in the directory
• Verify the professional qualifications or current registration status of any practitioner
• Guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any listing or recommendation

All practitioner profiles and recommendations published on the Platform reflect the personal experiences and opinions of community members. They should not be used as the sole basis for any medical or healthcare decision.

Always consult a qualified, registered healthcare professional for medical advice and verify a practitioner's credentials independently before engaging their services.

3. Who Can Use the Platform

The Platform is open to anyone seeking information about perinatal care in Portugal. By submitting content (recommendations, testimonials, or any other information), you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old
• The experience you describe is based on your own genuine personal experience
• You are not submitting content on behalf of, or at the request of, any practitioner

4. Submitting Recommendations

When submitting a recommendation or testimonial about a practitioner, you agree to the following rules:

• Content must be based on a real, personal experience with the practitioner
• Content must not be defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, or contain personal attacks
• Content must not include false statements of fact presented as true
• Content must not include personal identifying information about other individuals without their consent
• Content must not be submitted for commercial purposes or in exchange for any benefit

By submitting content, you grant Born to Be Wild a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, display, and moderate that content on the Platform. You retain ownership of what you write.

5. Moderation and Content Removal

Born to Be Wild will be reviewing, editing, or removing any submitted content at our sole discretion, including content that:

• Violates these Terms
• Is reported by a practitioner as inaccurate or defamatory
• We reasonably believe could expose the Platform or its users to legal risk

6. Practitioner Listings

Practitioners are listed based on community recommendations. Being listed on this Platform does not constitute an endorsement, certification, or recommendation by Born to Be Wild.

Inclusion in the directory reflects one or more positive community recommendations. Born to Be Wild reserves the right to exercise editorial discretion in determining whether a practitioner meets the threshold for listing, without obligation to provide reasons.

Practitioners who wish to update, correct, or remove their listing may contact us at any time. Any removal request will be processed within 30 days.

7. Limitation of Liability

Born to Be Wild and its operator shall not be liable for:

• Any reliance placed on information published on the Platform
• The accuracy or completeness of any practitioner listing or community recommendation
• Any harm, loss, or damage arising from your use of the Platform or your choice of practitioner
• Any content submitted by third parties

The Platform is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

8. Intellectual Property

All original content created by Born to Be Wild (including but not limited to editorial content, design, and structure) is protected by copyright.
